PRESENTED BY: Rich Frieder, LearningRX
Stay sharp and active as you age! No need to simply accept the idea that your mental skills – memory, processing speed, etc. - need to decline. This session will help you understand the critical nature of cognitive skills and how they impact performance and quality of life. Many individuals struggle with tasks like remembering grocery lists, phone numbers, names or where they left their keys! Presenter Rick Frieder will discuss the latest theories related to aging and our brain function, provide strategies for strengthening these skills and offer some fun brain training exercises. Participants will gain a strong understanding and practical strategies on how to stay sharp as we age.

About the Presenter: Rich Frieder is the owner of LearningRx, a business that focuses on improving an individual’s ability to learn and process information. Rich has worked with individuals who have ADHD, autism, dyslexia and general learning struggles as well as adults desiring to remain sharp. A key driver in Rich’s decision to open LearningRx is his youngest daughter, Catie, who struggled with ADHD, receptive and expressive language delays and sensory integration disorder. Rich has spoken to numerous professional groups including at annual conferences and has also appeared on the Fox Morning News, Twin Cities Live and the Kare-11 Today Show.
