Susan Kent is a co-founder of the Woodbury News Net (WNN), a community-led, nonprofit, online, independent news site. Woodbury deserves a reliable source of news, information and connection. With a background in marketing and media, and 10 years representing Woodbury in the Minnesota Senate, Susan knows connection is crucial for a strong community. She brings entrepreneurial and leadership experience in gathering community members to work together to create this exciting new resource. WNN launched August 1, 2024 with a newsletter, “The Roundabout.” Subscriptions are free, and donations and business sponsorships and ads will make WNN a robust news site. Susan and her husband are 20-year Woodbury residents and the proud parents of a Woodbury High grad/college student. In her free time, Susan enjoys area parks and trails as well as local restaurants and shops!
