As political polarization has increasingly become a factor in our communities, schools, civic organizations and businesses, we're all learning how to navigate divides. Join us to learn about the (sometimes surprising) origins of division and actual steps you can take to bring down the temperature.

Shannon Watson is the Founder and Executive Director of Majority in the Middle. She has also served in policy and public affairs roles for the Medical Alley Association, St. Paul Area Chamber, U.S. Bank, the Minnesota Senate, and the National Conference of State Legislatures. Shannon has 20+ years of experience in electoral politics, advising candidates and working on campaigns on both sides of the aisle. Shannon holds a bachelor's degree in English, Theatre, and Psychology from Wichita State University and a master's degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

CHARITABLE GIVING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE AT CHAMBER EVENTS!
The Chamber's Charitable Endeavors committee is partnering with SoWashCo CARES Education Foundation between now and the end of the year. We will be collecting gently used and new school supplies as well as gift cards for gas, groceries, restaurants, retail, etc. to be used for both students in need and teacher appreciation. Donation boxes will be located at the registration check-in area.
