Speaker
Superintendent Julie Nielsen is starting her 5th year as the leader of the 6th largest school district in the state of Minnesota. She began her career as a student teacher in South Washington County Schools and was then hired as a teacher and high school girls’ basketball coach. Julie has worked in education for 31 years (28 of those years spent in the district) and her roles prior to superintendent included assistant principal, a building principal and assistant superintendent. She grew up in a town of 2,000 and is honored to serve this large and growing school district.
This is a new initiative in 2024 where community leaders will speak throughout the year on issues affecting business and our community. The series of morning sessions will provide members with a great opportunity for networking and garnishing valuable information about the Woodbury community.--get your seat at the table!
