Presenter: Woodbury Mayor Anne Burt
Join us for this popular Chamber Business Networking Luncheon. Hear Mayor Anne Burt reflect on highlights of the year as well as share updates regarding the City Council’s strategic initiatives, projects in the City and what's on the horizon in 2025.
Presenter:
Anne Burt was elected Woodbury’s sixth mayor in 2018. Prior to taking office, Burt served on the City’s Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission and 2040 Comprehensive Plan Task Force. Mayor Burt holds a degree in chemistry from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked for more than 35 years in water quality industry; focusing on technical consulting in the treatment of water used in various industries including drinking water, waste water, industrial water, and building water systems. A Woodbury resident since 2004, Burt and her husband Jeff have three adult children. Burt is a co-chair of the Regional Council of Mayors, sits on the boards of the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce & the Woodbury Community Foundation and is an active member of the St. Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic Community. She enjoys the city parks and trails on her bike and plays tennis regularly. Mayor Burt is always open to conversations with residents and businesses.
