About the Program: This presentation will focus on the information that companies need to know for running a profitable business while protecting their employees and navigating various state and federal leave and anti-discrimination laws. Hear practical advice and receive sample documents the presenter has drafted for clients. Topics will include:
- An overview of old and new Minnesota business employment laws relevant to the current pandemic
- Preparedness plan for protecting employees and customers
- Policies and procedures including leave, PTO, and discipline that comply with state and federal laws
About the Presenter: Lida Bannink is a shareholder and attorney with Eckberg Lammers, P.C. licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin and leads the labor and employment law practice group. Lida routinely assists businesses, municipalities, and individuals to successfully resolve disputes while keeping client’s best interests top-of mind.
