Description
The 2026 Woodbury Area Prayer Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 7:00-9:00am at the Inwood Oaks Events Center, 484 Inwood Ave. N, Oakdale, MN, 55128.
Our theme this year is "Community of Hope" and our theme verse is ""May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." -Romans 15:13 (NLT)
Our keynote speaker will be Adam Thielen. Adam is a two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver and one of the NFL’s most inspiring success stories. A Minnesota native, Thielen went from undrafted free agent to becoming one of the league’s most reliable and respected pass catchers through perseverance, discipline, and relentless work ethic.
Beyond football, Thielen is deeply committed to giving back. Alongside his wife, Caitlin, he co-founded the Thielen Foundation, which focuses on serving, educating, and inspiring youth—particularly those facing barriers to success. He is also a devoted husband and father who frequently speaks about faith, family, resilience, and finding purpose beyond sports.
Special inspirational music will be led once again by Emily Cameron. Following her desire to pursue music and serve the local church, Emily attended North Central University where she obtained her degree in Worship Leading. Emily has now been serving local churches around the twin cities for over 10 years.
Emily is not only a talented vocalist but is passionate about honoring the Lord with her giftings and creating space for others to worship God.
Mark Hargis, who has chaired the Woodbury Area Prayer Breakfast for a number of years and has also been a past emcee, will be returning as this year's emcee.
As always, special prayers will be offered by representative members of the many facets of our community.
This is an event for community members and leaders from business, government, education, and churches to assemble for the purpose of seeking divine guidance, to proclaim a call into a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to renew a faith and dependence upon God. We hope you will consider attending.
