Description
This workshop provides practical guidance for those new to leadership or considering a leadership role. It takes more than a new name tag to transition from doing the work yourself to be the one who fosters productivity of others! Attend this workshop to understand how to create effective boundaries, influence others, and build your capacity to lead.
- learn the differences between the role of an individual contributor and a front-line supervisor
- apply the principles for establishing appropriate boundaries
- clarify person values
- assess your level of emotional intelligence
- make a plan for your continued development
Arlene J. Anderson has over 25 years of leadership experience in a variety of settings, including education, health care, and light industry. She works with groups to create elegant solutions to "people" issues and build effective leadership teams. She gets her points across in a practical yet entertaining manner. Arlene holds a Master of Science in Psychology, specializing in Organization Development and Adult Learning.
