Connecting Businesses with Woodbury Public Safety
WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2024
12:00 NOON – 1:00 p.m. 
 

Join Woodbury Public Safety for a community engagement event that offers an unique opportunity for the business community to connect with Woodbury Police and take a tour of the current Public Safety Campus.  This event is an excellent opportunity to understand how our Public Safety services are evolving and to learn how you can actively participate in making Woodbury a safer place.
 
Patrol Commander Tom Ehrenberg will discuss the need for an expanded Public Safety Campus, the growth of Public Safety services  over the years, the roles of Police, EMS and Fire in serving the Woodbury community, and share the funding options under consideration for the campus renovation project.
 
In addition, learn about the newly formed Woodbury Police Community Impact Unit and the Woodbury Police Business Coalition. Sergeant Natalie Bauer, Detective Adam Olson and Detective Kyle Myers will explain the purpose and function of the Community Impact Unit and the collaboration between the unit and local businesses to prevent crimes, solve cases, and keep Woodbury a safe place to live and visit. They will also discuss opportunities for businesses to engage with the Woodbury Police’s Business Coalition, a  communication network that fosters cooperation between the police and local businesses.
 
Afterwards, participants are welcome to join officers for a tour of the current Public Safety Campus.
