St. Paul Saints Baseball Club
The St. Paul Saints and professional baseball in St. Paul date back to the late 1800's, creating a rich tradition of baseball fans in and around the city of St. Paul. This history made St. Paul a major prospect for Mike Veeck, Marv Goldklang and Bill Murray as they searched for a home to place their team in the newly created Northern League, now called the American Assocition, in 1992. With the cities support to bring back professional baseball to St. Paul, the new era of the St. Paul Saints was created and they played their first home game at Midway Stadium in 1993. For 22 seasons, the St. Paul Saints called Midway Stadium home and, in 2015, the Saints moved to their new ballpark, CHS Field, in downtown St. Paul. Despite the location change, the Saints continue to center their brand on the "FUN IS GOOD"' mentality, marrying entertainment and baseball to create a family fun experience that everyone can enjoy. The 2017 Saints season marked 25 successful years of new era professional baseball in St. Paul and, with the popularity of CHS Field, the Saints look forward to providing families and baseball fanatics 25 more years of fun.
