Earl Netwal, known as the Micro Business Specialist is a Minneapolis Internet Marketing Consultant.

He has been making his living online since 1996. He started as an Ebay pioneer in its early years, moved on to affiliate marketing and increasingly as a consultant to small businesses. His clients are primarily local businesses serving their immediate geographical areas, although the tools and techniques he uses apply to those seeking a national presence as well.

His presentation will focus on how small businesses can attract new customers utilizing the Big G – Google. The internet makes it possible for even the smallest business to compete effectively. But not all tools and techniques apply to every situation. 

His presentation will provide a “Cliff Notes” overview of major internet marketing topics and key insights a small business owner should be aware of - whether they manage their own internet presence or not.

Topics include key marketing consideration for your website and or landing page, on page SEO, off page SEO, getting on the Google 3 pack, Adwords advertising, YouTube, YouTube Advertising, and the importance of reputation management as a marketing tool.

Earl initially joined Toastmasters in the early 1980’s, took the bulk of the 1990’s off to return in the early 2000’s. Over the years, he has been active in a wide variety of community and business organizations. He has a BA and Masters from the University of Minnesota.

His publications include, “Why Most Small Business Web Sites Stink,” and “Getting on the Google 7 Pack”.
