Description
Topic: New Overtime Rules
Presented by David King, U.S. Department of Labor and Industry
This session will provide vital information on the requirements to track and pay overtime and on the changes to the federal exemption requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) which becomes effective on December 1, 2016. The session will also serve as an overview of the salary and duty requirements for key exemptions under the FLSA. This is an interactive session, so bring your questions.
About the speaker: David King began his Wage and Hour career in 1997 as an investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor & Industry in the Denver District Office/Sioux Falls field station.
