Description
Health Care Reform for Individuals, Seniors and Small Business in Minnesota
Presenter: Richard Lett, MVO,
Chief Executive Officer, LeClair Group
About the Program: Join us for an informative, engaging and relevant presentation that will review health care changes in Minnesota, answer questions about health insurance and reform, and discuss all options available. Because of the importance and cost of health insurance, this presentation is one you won’t want to miss! The uninsured rate in Minnesota is below 5%, which is a good indicator that everyone wants health insurance to protect their families and live life to the fullest. However, premiums and out of pocket costs continue to rise, not only making the ability to afford coverage an issue but using it sometimes an even bigger headache.
Attend this program and hear what is driving the premium increases and (outside of politics) hear about exciting ideas carriers and providers are implementing to reduce costs. There are changes and challenges as network choice is reduced and as deductibles and out of pocket costs increase – this presentation will discuss how you can control costs and will address eligibility, differences and advantages of individual versus group insurance.
And, if you thought the ACA was the only change happening; by the end of 2018, nearly 400,000 Minnesotans over 65 with Medicare will lose their current coverage and move to a Medicare Advantage Plan. The purpose of this presentation is for everyone to better understand changes, control costs and make the best choices.
